Looks like my tv will get some use!

Derp Hal is best Hal
-No previous versions’s project files can be used.
-Windows cannot be rearranged, or used on dual monitors for easier viewing.
-Previous versions’ plugins cannot be used (makes sense but still a huge nuisance).
-Cannot cooperate with other editing software
-Can’t organize project files (Events are fine for iMovie, but not FCP!)
-Can’t assign audio tracks (Bye Bye using Pro Tools)
There’s some other things missing but these are what affect me the most. The workspace is just really clunky, and if I can’t feel comfortable with it there’s no way I can use it. It’s like arranging your spice cabinet, you know exactly where the black pepper or srirachi sauce is, and then suddenly, everything is in a new place and you have no way of moving them around. I need my damn srirachi sauce THERE damnit!
I guess it really is “iMovie the Program The Movie 2: The Final Sequel”
Excuse me while Final Cut Pro X makes me a hermit for the few days. WOWZA!
I’m curious how this turns out for you, the early reviews were not so positive.
Wikipedia had me excited, the reviews are making me wary now. No compatibility with previous versions’ projects? Hmm.

Can someone please make a trailer comprised of Steve Rogers changing into Jake Wyler from Not Another Teen Movie? “The first Partier.”
EVERY TIME. I feel like it’d be a good networking technique, but is it worth the drop in English language skills?

I think Super 8 was about as close to the charm of The Goonies that a writer other than Spielberg could get. “A very good rip off of E.T.” was what I heard walking out of the theater, and honestly, that’s almost how I feel. I would definitely put this in the category of Stand By Me and Sandlot though, it’s bound to hold some nostalgia for the younger audiences.
I feel like cutting together footage of the crash with something Harry Potter related, and throw in some Liam Neeson/Batman dialogue for Alice’s father (“WHERE IS SHE”)
I didn’t love Super 8.
I didn’t love the fact that this 8 page spread was in just about all my pulls this month (although I enjoyed the art of it)
